    • WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT OUR SCHOOL

      • Culture –  Since 1926, St. Mary's Elementary School has provided academic excellence and spiritual formation to its students. Throughout our programs, the Catholic faith remains central to the moral development of each child. Extracurricular activities and athletic programs provide students with the opportunity to explore their interests and promote teamwork beyond the classroom.
      • Academic Excellence –  St. Mary's students are challenged through rich academic content, student centered learning, hands-on activities and real-world connections. Our highly qualified and dedicated faculty facilitate the student's exploration of new concepts and the development of skills for academic achievement utilzing the latest in education resources and technology including Chromebooks, iPads, 3D printing and Promethean Boards.
      •  Supportive Community – St. Mary's fully recognizes that students are most successful when their parents are actively engaged in their education which is why we work to create a strong home school connection. Our school provides a safe and supportive community that recognizes the dignity of every student.

    • HOW OUR SCHOOL RESPONDED TO COVIDE-19 and THRIVED in 2020

On March 17, 2020 St. Mary's launched its Distance Learning Program using the Google Suite platform.  Since this technology was already fully integrated into our curriculum at all grade levels, it was a seamless transition for faculty and students to move into remote synchronous and asynchronous learning.

During the Summer of 2020, St. Mary's developed the safest, most secure, and most teacher-student focused school reopening plan achievable.

On September 8, 2020, St. Mary's reopened at 100% occupancy, five days a week. St. Mary's plans to remain open as long as we are permitted by the State of New York.
