I began my teaching career at St. Edmund's Elementary in the Diocese of Brooklyn. My first teaching assignment included Jr High Science in Grades 6-8. While at St Edmund's, I taught 6th Grade Reading and Religion. After my teaching career started, I was blessed with a marriage and I had 2 healthy children. I decided to stay home with my children for 10 years. I ventured back to the classroom eventually where I taught middle school science at St Edward the Confessor School in Syosset NY. During my time at St. Edward's, I also developed a science enrichment program for Grades Pre-K to Grade 5.  Added to my formal years as a teacher, I spent 4 years as a Substitute teacher in the Diocese of Rockville Centre. During that time, I was welcomed into the communities of Notre Dame School and St. Anne's School.
I am the proud product of Catholic Schools. I am happy that my parents made that commitment to Catholic Education.  My husband and I continued this commitment by sending our own children to Catholic Schools. As a family we are active members of Notre Dame Parish in New Hyde Park.
In my spare time, I enjoy caring for my own children who are currently in Grade 9 and Grade 11. I enjoy watching their sport activities. I enjoy finding time for aerobic classes at the local gym.
